At the beginning of April 2016 Peter Verdi's Magnetic Scrolls Chronicles website went offline. So far all my attempts to contact Peter failed. His site carried some invaluable interviews with former Magnetic Scrolls people. To preserve the work I temporarily uploaded a dump of his site taken in summer of 2015. All you can see below is 100% Peter's work! Hopefully his site will reappear soon! Peter, if you read this, can you contact me?

Remember how it's like to ride on a cloud? How it feels to be squashed by a bus, or how to get that damned gold disc from Micky? Well, here's your chance to relive all these situations.

Have a chat with the devil in THE PAWN, ransack an entire island in THE GUILD OF THIEVES, restore luck itself to a whole country in JINXTER, uncover a conspiracy in CORRUPTION, become an inter-dimensional secret agent in FISH!, an ancient god in MYTH, walk in the footsteps of Alice in WONDERLAND and inherit a haunted mansion in THE LEGACY.
Become a part of the fantasy of Magnetic Scrolls - you certainly won't regret it . . .

Sources of further information

A concise history of the company and some further clues as to the destinations of the Magnetic Scrolls staff.

Magnetic Scrolls Memorial:
Probably the best site around and which attempts to document and archive the contents of the games' packages together with interviews and reviews from the times of the games' release dates and later. Also hosts the Magnetic interpreter and games files.

A brief summary of each game including packaging preamble. Now maintained by Stefan Meier.

The Bird Sanctuary:
The resting place of memories of Telecomsoft's range of games. This is a great site featuring many screenshots from the wide range of platforms the Magnetic Scrolls games were released for, information and, of particular interest, collated memories behind most of the games. Hopefully this will eventually be comprehensive with the site being run by ex-Telecomsoft employees and associates.

Another good source of information is the games database, Mobygames ( which includes screenshots and release dates but is not exhaustive - the Archimedes versions being a major omission.

World of Spectrum:
A near-exhaustive archive of information and items relating to the Sinclair Spectrum which contains the emulator files for the Magnetic Scrolls games compatible with Z80em.

A resource of manuals, a few utilities for the original games, the interpreters, hints and a comprehensive factfile by Stefan Meier.
